RAISE English

French national reference center for inflammatory rheumatic diseases, autoimmune diseases and systemic interferonopathies in children (RAISE)

The RAISE reference center covers all rare inflammatory diseases in pediatric rheumatology, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), JIA-associated chronic uveitis, systemic vasculitis, connective tissue diseases (juvenile lupus and dermatomyositis in particular), and monogenic or complex autoinflammatory diseases including systemic granulomatoses and monogenic interferonopathies in children.

Its missions are to assist in the management and information of patients and families, in connection with associations and the network of reference and competence centers.

In the Île-de-France region, RAISE has, in addition to Necker, a second site in general pediatrics at Robert Debré university hospital, and competence centers/expert centers in rheumatology at Cochin (for older adolescents, in conjunction with Maison de Solenn, and young adults) and Jossigny sur Marne.

The center coordinates or participates in several research programs in the field of pediatric rheumatology and systemic inflammatory pathologies.

The center is coordinated by professor Pierre Quartier-dit-Maire, with Doctors Brigitte Bader-Meunier, Marie-Louise Frémond and Benjamin Fournier in the unit of pediatric immunology, hematology and rheumatology of the Necker-Enfants Malades university hospital.

Logo FAI2RThis reference center is affiliated with the FAI²R rare diseases healthcare network  Logo ERN RITAand the RITA European reference network (ERN).
