Launch of the Adolupus platform (RAISE)

Vignette Adolupus Raise

The RAISE reference center team announces the launch of a digital platform created for adolescents with lupus : www.adolupus.fr

This website is intended for teenagers and young adults with lupus and aims to help them understand systemic lupus, live with the disease and take action on a daily basis.

The objectives of the site are to help them to :

  • better understand their disease in order to manage it more easily and gain autonomy
  • organise their follow-up
  • find tips for adapting to their lives and everyday situations
  • build projects that are important to them

Dr Brigitte Bader-Meunier (RAISE reference center), working in the paediatric immuno-haematology and rheumatology department at Necker, initiated and directed the project.

However, the project, financed within the framework of the DGOS TPE project calls, was conducted under the aegis of the FAI2R rare diseases healthcare network in association with :

  • the department of general paediatrics, infectious diseases and paediatric internal medicine, Robert-Debré hospital
  • the reference centre for systemic lupus, anti-phospholipid syndrome and other rare autoimmune diseases
  • Internal medicine department 2, Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, Paris
  • Patient associations: Lupus France, Association Française du Lupus, Lupus référence
