Neurological and craniofacial vascular abnormalities

French national competence center for neurological and craniofacial vascular abnormalities

Necker-Enfants malades university hospital treats all vascular malformations of the child, brain, face and neck.

Necker’s pediatric neurosurgery and neuro-intensive care services are the only centers in the Île-de-France region to provide round-the-clock pediatric neurosurgery.

As part of the emergency, our center welcomes all children suffering from an intracerebral hemorrhage secondary to a ruptured cerebral arteriovenous malformation. The close collaboration between the neurosurgery, pediatric anesthesia, pediatric intensive care and interventional neuro-radiology departments allows for emergency treatment, but also for follow-up and regulated care thanks to a monthly multidisciplinary pediatric neurosurgery meeting.

Logo Fava-multiThis reference center is affiliated to the Fava-Multi rare diseases healthcare network and Logo ERN Vascernthe VASCERN European Reference Network (ERN).
